Motorbike MOT in Hexworth

What a motorcycle MOT checks, item by item

The tester works through the machine from lights to frame. Narrow lanes mean plenty of slow, tight manoeuvres, so steering, brakes and tyres are worth a look beforehand.

Motorbike MOT classes: 200cc is the dividing line

Class 1 means motorcycles up to 200cc, and Class 2 means over 200cc. Tell us the make, model, registration and engine size when you book and we will confirm the class for your bike.

If your motorbike MOT shows a fault

Defects are graded dangerous, major or minor, and advisories mention anything to watch. We can repair failures on site and retest the bike, although retest terms depend on the faults and timing, so ask when you book.
